Sometimes you may want to alert a specific user of content on a specific page in your workspace. Rather than manually constructing an email with a link, but PBworks has included the "Share this page" feature which streamlines this process for you.
Sending a Link
- Click the "Share this page" link on the right hand side:

- You'll be presented with a form that you can use to send the link. In the "To:" field, type the name of the user you wish to contact.
- As you start typing, a list of users names will appear below. This list comes from the Users' list of the workspace. Once you see the name of the person you want to send the message to, click on it, and then type your message.
Important note: This feature is internal to PBworks, so the "To" field obeys the security restrictions set by the administrator. If the user you want to contact does not show in the autocomplete list, then that user does not have access to the page. To change this, you must contact an administrator on the workspace.
- When you've added a name to the "To" Field, they'll show up like this:

You can remove their name, by clicking the "X" next to their name. You can also add more users' names to the "To" field, to send the same message and link to multiple users.

Once you've set the users that will be notified in the "To" field, and the custom message you want to send, just click "Send notification" to send the link.
