What is a workspace?

Workspaces are spaces that hold content (created pages and uploaded files).  Each workspace has it's own users list and settings, and is a place for your students to hold content.

The workspace name is in red.  Everything is inside your PBworks subdomain, so be sure to refer to this site whenever contacting Support, or telling your users where to log in.

Each users has permission on the workspace depending on how, or if, they've logged in.  The Administrator of a workspace is the only person with the ability to change the permission of any user through the Users list, or through the Workspace Security setting.

Upgrades for Schools

The free service is available for free, however, it is severely limited in some features.  While upgrading does make the service more functional, and upgraded school wikis do have more administrative features, the day-to-day operation of the service is unchanged by upgrading.

It's important that you understand the kind of upgrade you need, and choose accordingly.  If you have any questions about upgrading multiple workspaces for your school please fill out this form.
