Notes on Plugin availability:
Blue Categories are available on all workspaces
Green Categories are only available on educational workspaces
**Additionally, the TeacherTube and Voki Speaking Avatar plugins are only available in educational workspaces.

Due to security reasons, legal workspaces have significantly less plugins available.

Where did my plugins go?  Why did you change the menu?

The plugins were reorganized to be easier to find, including making the most heavily used ones more available.  A few very rarely used plugins were removed, and plugins not appropriate for educational use were also eliminated from educational workspaces.  The above listing shows every available plugin, but not every plugin may be available in your editor.

The function of most plugins that embed content on a webpage can usually be replicated by the HTML/Javascript plugin.  For example, the Plan an event plugin was removed, but you can still use the HTML/Javascript plugin to embed the content from Eventbrite.com (the site the plugin directed users to get content from).

If any of these changes have caused you a major inconvenience, please let us know here.  If you want a plugin only available in one category, we may need to change your workspace category to that category.

What is a plugin?

A plugin is small widget or program that can be viewed by your browser and displays various types of content.  With PBworks, you can insert lots of different kinds of plugins, depending on what your page needs.

How do I use plugins?

  1. Enter "Edit Mode" of the page you want to embed the plugin into.
  2. Click the “Insert Plugin” button.

  3. You'll be shown a menu of available plugin categories.

  4. When you place your mouse over each category, a list of available plugins will appear.  Click on the plugin you want to use.
