You can use this as a basic template for your own calendars.  Simply copy this into a new page in your workspace, and tag it with the word "template."  Then, to create a calendar, you can create a new page with the calendar template.

This is very different from the other calendar plugin.  This calendar will not change over time, it will only change with edits to the page.  This is no different than any other content on a page, and so you'll be able to revert and save changes to the calendar through the Editor.
